Job Responsibilities
Design and implement project plans
Observe and supervise projects
Review and comply with government laws
Ensure deadlines and budget are met
Conduct site assessments, soil testing and classification, as well as slope design and stability
Complete necessary tasks for environmental permitting
Work with a team of other engineers and CAD drafters
Site layout, grading, and sustainable design
Qualifications
Civil engineering degree
Strong leadership and verbal, written and communication skills
Project development ability
Prior work experience in developing structural plans and designs
Knowledge and background working with a variety of operating systems
Clear understanding of safety procedures
Skilled at project research and giving estimates
Thorough and detail-oriented
Familiar with design software programs and using them to create drawings and descriptions
Experienced in expediting proposed project plans in an orderly manner
Adept at working with numerous engineering operating systems
Strong time management ability to ensure projects are completed on time
CAD Drafter
CAD drafters are instrumental in ensuring that building construction plans are safe and properly designed. By reviewing the plan details thoroughly, drafters ensure that engineering companies are confident in the design of a project before it moves forward.
They use the data collected from architects and engineers to create digital drawings and designs with software. Builders and manufacturers then use these designs for buildings and products.
We’re looking for a CAD drafter with an inventive mindset that loves to work with engineers and architects.
Job Responsibilities
Collect project drawings and necessary data involved in a project
Use software to draft architectural designs (CAD)
Research building and zoning laws, applying them to technical drawings and plans
Meet and discuss design options with engineers, architects, and surveyors
Prepare the completed version of a construction project including necessary materials, production procedures, and dimension details
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or similar area of study
Experienced with taskProficiency in AutoCAD and associated software applications
Excels in collaboration with engineering team
Advanced technical abilities
Excellent at meeting deadlines
Strong focus on details
